A felicitation ceremony for the teachers was organised at Women’s College by the students of science, commerce and arts faculties. Principal Prof Shamima Khatoon appealed the students to study to contribute in the development of the nation.
Prof Raj Kishore said that the society and the Government must be sensitive and positive towards the teachers. He said that a healthy society can not be formed without honouring teachers who guide students in proper way.Different kinds of extra curricular activities help a lot in the overall development of students and this must be encouraged at all levels to have sound and healthy indivisuals.He also lauded the roles of students in the development of society as well as country. In the programme, Rashmi, Puja, Rahat, Rishika and others played important roles. The students presented Marathi dance, modern dance, Aadiwasy dance and dramas. On the occasion Dr Shashi Prabah, Prof Sneh, Prof Satish Shahdeo, Shikha Singh, Geeta Prasad, Chandu and others were present.
