The Teacher’s Day was celebrated jointly by KV Singh ladies Inter College Baxi Dipa and Greater Triveni Public School lohardaga on Monday. The chief guest Harihar Prasad, a renowned retired teacher and chairman of School Management committee Praveen Kumar Singh garlanded the picture of Dr Radhakrishnan and lighted the candles to inaugurate the programme jointly.
On the occasion the chief guest Harihar Prasad threw light upon the values of education and said, “The students are future of our nation. So they must get education not only to develop themselves but also to contribute in the development of society and the nation.”
Chairman Praveen Kumar Singh said, “The students and the teachers should be attached emotionally. Teachers are the creators of the future of a nation.”
On the occasion the students presented cultural programmes and the guests were welcomed by offering shawls. The students were advised to follow the path of Dr Radhakrishnan. On the occasion the students, their parents and a large number of people were present.
According to news the Teachers’ day was also celebrated at Middle School Palmerganj lohardaga and many govt and non govt educational institutions with a lot of fervour.
