In a sensational incident a high school teacher has been shot dead in broad daylight in Garhwa town near Rama Sahu High School. On Tuesday.A dispute over land was the cause of murder, the police said. Teachers have blocked te main road with dead body.
Deceased have identified as Alok Kumar Dwivedi a resident of village Gara Khurd under Kandi police station of the district.
The brother of deceased has filed an FIR and named four persons for the crime. According to police, deceased was coming from the school when reached near the spot criminals stopped him and punched six bullets on his head and chest. After crime criminals fled else where. Deceased was died on the spot.
later teachers blocked the main road near Garhwa hospital after put the dead body on the road. Blocked was uplift after assurance of Garhwa SP Sudhir Kumar Jha and Garhwa SDO. SP given written assurence to the teachers arresting of criminals within 24 hours.
