A network of TB survivors and Champions – TB Elimination from Jharkhand (TEJ) – organised a symbolic march for TB in seven districts - Giridih, Gumla, Garhwa, Saraikela, Pakur, Ranchi and Hazaribag – of Jharkhand on Monday. TB Champions led the march to raise awareness on TB, including the availability of free diagnosis and treatment through the Revised National Tuberculosis Control Program (RNTCP) and the stigma associated with TB. Representatives of Panchayati Raj Institutions, Health Workers and schools students joined the TB survivors and Champions and took out processions with slogans on TB.
