In an effort to combat Covid-19 within its areas of operation, the Jharia Division of Tata Steel donated 10,000 Rapid Antigen Testing (RAT) kits and 1400 home isolation kits to Sadar Hospital here today.
Dr Gopal Das, Civil Surgeon Dhanbad received the RAT and home isolation kits from Col Bhawani Singh Nirvan, Head Administration, Jharia Division, Tata Steel and Mr Rajesh Kumar, Unit Head, Tata Steel Foundation, Jharia unit. The Home Isolation Kit comprises nine types of medicines that are generally prescribed for recovery from COVID-19.
This medical aid is in continuation to the constant support provided by Tata Steel to District Administration.
