The Jhatka division of Tata Steel, organised a day long fun sports for its female employees at Digwadih stadium here today.
It was was first of its kind of sports in the region to promote sports as a way of life in which 62 participants competed in different individual and team games including cricket ball throw, shooting the football, relay race, ball dribbling, 400 metre walking race besides others. The maximum participation was from the medical services wing of the organisation, according to a press release of organisation.
Besides female employees, officer’s wives also took part in the event. All the winners’ participants were felicitated with prizes.
