Tata Power has always endeavoured to improve healthcare facilities of the communities living in and around its project areas. In line with this commitment, Tata Power successfully organised health awareness camps in various villages across Tiruldih, Kuda, Sirkadih, Gundlidih and Bamundih.

The objective of the camp was to provide free medical check-up and healthcare facilities to the communities. More than 400 patients benefited from the health camps and received free consultation from renowned doctors. The camp was conducted over a period of 10 days where experienced doctors examined the patients and prescribed free medicines post the consultation.

Speaking on this initiative D. Santra, head – Tiruldih Project said, “We  believe that healthcare facilities for our communities is vital. Through our various community service initiatives we have been propagating awareness on the importance of healthcare and hygiene and have provided basic amenities to them”.
