Swiggy is taking the celebration of Ranchi’s love for food to the next level with a series of billboards that feature the most ordered dishes, proudly showcased by Swiggy’s top delivery partners from the city.
In addition to promoting Ranchi’s culinary culture, Swiggy is also recognising and celebrating one of the city's hero delivery partners, Rahul Kumar. In 2019, when Rahul struggled to make ends meet and was in search for a job, he joined Swiggy as a delivery executive and has been associated with them since then. He has since become an integral part of the team and is Swiggy’s top delivery partner having delivered the greatest number of orders across Ranchi.
"Getting jobs in a small town is quite tough. With Swiggy starting its services in Ranchi, it gave me an opportunity to make money and support ourselves and our family by not having to move to a different city. I have developed some great relationships while working here because the company always supported me, especially during the pandemic and recently helped me with my medical expenses when my wife delivered a baby. I’m satisfied with my current job, and I will continue working with Swiggy in the future," says Rahul Kumar.
