The 154th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda was celebrated with fervor throughout all government schools of Bermo on Thursday, making the culmination of year –long ceremonies .The main functions of Shankar Utkramit Madhya Vidhayalaya, Bokaro Thermal were held at school premises and others school including middle school Jarandih, Dhori, Kathara, Sunday Bazaar, Phase-two, Middle school Karo,NPS sharda colony also organized 154th birth anniversary as National Yuwa diwas in their school campus, said BEEO(Bermo) Mahendra Singh .
According to block education extension officer (BEEO) Mahendra Singh , colourful processions by all school children, teachers and people of all walks of life were seen in the morning despite biting cold and fog in several parts of Bermo. The speech on Swami Vivekananda were also carried out by the student class VII and VIII participated in the all government schools in order to promote education ,art ,way of life, trust among youths inspire their inner soul ,devotees offer pushpanjali to the statue of Swami Vivekananda ,Singh further added.
Smt Shyama Kumari, headmistress of SUMS, Bokaro Thermal said that born on this date, now celebrated as National Youth Day, The objective behind the government’s move was to imbibe the students and youth with the philosophy and ideals of the Swamiji, the man who brought a change in the thought process of youth since 1985, she added.
