A day-long district-level summit of Swadeshi Jagran Manch was organised at Sheela Agarwal Vidya Mandir on Sunday in the presence of Assembly Speaker Dinesh Oraon.
Dinesh Oraon said on the occasion, “In these days it is the need of the hour to adopt and use country made products. It would help to make out nation self dependent financially as well as we would feel proud of our country. Otherwise we would have to feel guilty in coming days. Earlier the farmers used to crop with local seeds, the earthen lamps were used in Deepawali. Now-a-days we are using foreign made and Chinese products.”
The chief spokesperson of the Manch Arun Ojha said, “Swadeshi Jagran Manch has been running a movement to inspire people for using country made products. We the people of India should include it in our behaviour, use in needs and buy the foreign things in compulsion only. We have to fight for economical freedom of the country. The first Green revolution had ruined the country. Now under conspiracy the second Green revolution would have to be run in eastern parts of the country that is more dangerous than earlier. The land of the nation has turned infertile. We have to be cautious. Then only our goals can be achieved.”
In the summit e-commerce, effect of FDI, on-line marketing, effect of domestic market, importance of Swadeshi etc were discussed. On the occasion Bande Shankar, Anjani Sinha, Om Singh, Manoj Singh, Rakesh Prasad, Sita Ram Sharma, Kineshji and many committee members were present.
