Suspected ultras have killed a youth Sohan Sao near Gerua River on Bundu-Keredari road on Saturday evening. Sohan, son of Bhuvaneshwar Sao of village Salga, Keredari was returning home from Bundu when this incident took place.
According to sources, Sohan has gone to Bundu on Saturday morning for some personal works. In the evening when he was returning some armed men tried to stop him near Gerua River bridge. He tried to escape after which the armed men shot him down. All four bullet injuries visible on his body is from back side.
After getting information Keredari police and villagers rushed to the spot. Police tried to take the body to the police station but angry villagers stopped them from doing so. They have blocked the road and are demanding immediate action against the culprit and compensation for the grieved family.
SP Akhilesh Jha had reached the spot and was talking with the villagers. At the time of filing this report, villagers agreed to clear the road but yet no official statement from police has been made. Jha was looking after the investiagtion. No left ultra group has taken the responsibility of the killing as yet.
