The Students of Class X of Surendranath Centenary School celebrated the ‘Joy of Giving Week’ with the inmates of the Old Age Home, Bariatu. Through such activities the school aims at sensitizing the young generation towards the elderly. This visit brought smile on the faces of the children as well as the elderly. The joy of gifting filled the hearts of the students with immense joy and satisfaction.Children also interacted with them and realized that it’s extremely important to spend time with the grandparents at home also, and that is what they crave for. They want to be loved and cared for. Principal Samita Sinha appreciated the enthusiasm shown by the students for this noble cause.
