The Bharatiya Suraaj Dal, a newly-formed political party, has demanded that Tara Shahdeo case must be taken over by the CBI immediately. Expressing concern over the delay in taking over the case by the CBI, Suraaj Dal apprehended that the case might get influenced by a number of high profile politicians and bureaucrats who are being named in the case.
Referring to the alleged instance of ‘love-Jihad’ in the case, Suraaj Dal believes that it is a matter of investigation but at the same time demanded that legislation must be passed in Parliament with provisions of stringent punishment for anybody who tries to marry a girl concealing his religion.
