The Gurukul Practice Centre started in the State Capital on the concept of ‘Super 30’ with an aim to uplift the poor children by providing free coaching to them will be mentored and supported by Anand Kumar.

The scholarship test to admit eligible children will be conducted by the institute in the month of February 2018. Kumar applauded the initiative taken up by Sandeep Verma and Anirudh Sinha on the occasion. “We will be supporting the institute in different ways. Teaching material will be provided to the institute. Also, time to time, teachers training programme will be organised by us,” said Kumar, during an inaugural ceremony of the institute here on Monday.

“Around 30-40 students will be admitted in the institute depending on the decision of the management. Depending on the situation, if possible, around 8 to 10 eligible candidates will be taken to Patna centre for further guidance. Students will be enrolled in different study programmes accordingly in the institute,” Kumar added.

The founder of ‘Super 30’, Kumar after the inaugural session interacted with the school children and advised them to focus on the basic concept of the subject.

“Students taking All India level Examination must solve previous years’ question papers. The competition has increased in the recent times. To crack any prestigious examination, it is important to have a clear concept of the subject. Besides this, self-study is another major component where students need to focus besides taking the guidance from the coaching institute,” said Kumar.

Meanwhile, eminent mathematician and Indian columnist advised the State Government to focus on the up-gradation of government schools to curtail the rapid commercialisation of education. “The only way to stop the ever growing commercialisation in education system is to improve the quality of education at the Government schools making it at par with the private cradles. If the focus is given on improving education system here starting with elementary wing, there will be no dearth of talent in Jharkhand or else anywhere across India. It is high time, government must start paying attention towards the Government schools located at distant places,” he added. The event was graced by legislative Assembly, Speaker, Dinesh Oraon alongwith other dignitaries
