A three-day long summer badminton tournament for boys and girls on Friday concluded at Gandhinagar Club, Kanke Road. The tournament was organized by Central Coalfields limited (CCl).
Chairman-cum-Managing Director, CCl, Gopal Singh, who was the Chief Guest of the prize distribution ceremony, interacted with all participants including winners and runners directly. Shri Singh advised them to set a ‘target’ like Mahendra Singh Dhoni and work hard to achieve number one position in your selected field. In the Boys Category(10 years), Aman Shreeyukt emerged as a winner defeating Ishan Pathak. Similarly in other Boys Single category (13 years), Priyanshu declared winner. He defeated Suraj Tripathy. In the Girls Single category(10 Years), Devanshi Singh defeated Shreya Jha. In another match ( 13 years category), Ishika was declared winner, defeating Anushka Priya. The tournament was organised under the guidance of Adil Hussain, Manager(Sports).
General Manager (Welfare) K S Patro said the main objective of this event was to promote talent among students. Dr. Kiran, Chief Manager(P) compared the programme, while vote of thanks was proposed by Rakhi Gupta.
