DC Paramjeet Kaur said that the special summary revision of the electoral roll has been started. The draft of the electoral roll has been published on 9th June that will long till 30th June. The public of the district may meet their respected BlO and check the entries. They can make a claim for any objection. If a fresher had completed the 18 he or she would fill the form 6 and submit to the BlO to get5 their names included in the list.
DC said, “The list will be published trill 30th and a special campaign will be run on 21st, 22nd, 28th and 29th of June. The step had been taken at the request of several political parties so that the maximum number of public may use the vote. The DC also made an appeal to the public to be aware for it and BlOs were directed to start door to door campaign. In case of not having anyone at the home they can paste a sticker on the door mentioning the contact number, DC concluded.
