Palamu Police arrested one sub Zonal commander of JJMP identified as Santosh Yadav (30) on Tuesday who was remanded in judicial custody today itself. Giving this information SP Palamu Indrajeet Mahatha said Yadav has four cases against him three of which are in Garhwa district. He is very notorious for levy extraction. His arresting was done in a joint effort of Palamu police and 134 battalion of CRPF. SP said DIG police Palamu Vipul Shukla had got a tip off about this JJMP ultra and the police and CRPF swung into action and finally arrested Yadav when he was on way to Kukarka village under Chainpur police station.
Police recovered one loaded country made pistol from him.
