This year 1668 of KBW college Hazaribagh are not going to get scholarship because due to clerical mistake their applications were not entertained by the Government departments. The students were in so much anger that they did not allow even the teachers and non-teaching staffs of the college to enter inside the campus. The teachers and non-teaching staffs waited for more than four hours in the hostel premises situated adjacent to the college campus.

District and police administration tried to solve the situation, because from 2 pm the exam of intermediate was scheduled to be organized there. The officials tried to call Principal Dr. Rekha Rani but she didn’t came. VC Prof. Gurdeep Singh threw the ball in principal’s court saying that it is a problem related purely with college so he cannot do anything.

The students were not only angry on the issue of scholarship but were also raising voice against the indiscriminate fee taken by the college administration both in admission and  hostel and mess fee as well. Students of hostel were openly saying that every month

`500 is taken as generator charge but generator is started only during night, if needed.

Finally JVCM leader Vishal Balmiki mediated with the administration and agitating students after which the students allowed the administration to open college gate at about 1 pm.
