Five-day-long workshop of Panchayat planning team was inaugurated on Tuesday at cooperative building of lohardaga block office premises by MlA Sukhdeo Bhagat, CO Anurag Tiwary, and BDO Vijay Mishra jointly.
On the occasion, Sukhdeo Bhagat said, “Make plans campaign is a nice step for full fledged development of the nation. In villages the soul of the country resides. Congress party had dreamt for the all round development of the villages. Panchayati Raj system is the result of this effort. If villages would be developed, it would be followed by the development of the state and the nation. Earlier the development plans were decided by the officials but now the villagers are entitled to give the list of the plans according to priority to the block office. If the people would give the details of plans by taking decision collectively according to their requirements, it would be better for its implementation.”
Bhagat added further, “First decide the plans at Panchayat secretariat or Gram Sabha, then send it to block level. The plans made by the people would be approved.” On the occasion, the CO and BDO furnished the detailed informations of Panchayat planning committee.
