Stone crushing plant set afire

Unidentified criminals set a mobile stone crushing plant afire in village Munkeri under Chhaterpur police station on Saturday night. The criminals carried out this arson around mid night. The DSP Chhaterpur Sameer Tirkey confirmed the incident and said the mobile crushing plant has suffered some damages.

To a question if the arson is the handiwork of any naxal outfit the DSP said prima facie it does not appear. Police investigation is on he added. In Chhaterpur there is a big operator called Khurana whose crushing plant has been in the eye of a storm there.

About four-five weeks back a hand written bill of the CPI Maoist was seized by the police in Chhaterpur wherein the bill had warned this crushing plant owner over grabbing land of the poor for stone and boulders said the DSP.
