Showing no sign of confusion over seat-sharing agreement with the JMM, Congress State president Sukhdeo Bhagat reiterated that they would fight on 10-4 formula in the State in upcoming general elections. Though, he accepted that both the parties were yet to finalise constituencies under their fold.
“There is no confusion and Chief Minister Hemant Soren is also agreeing on 10-4. But from where we would be fighting is yet to be decided. I think there is no disagreement on to this,” said the PCC chief. He also said that the State unit of the Congress would start a consultation process with all the party MlAs to know status of
development in their respective areas and priorities and possibilities on the likely 10 parliamentary seats. Talking about proposed Congress rally in Ranchi, Bhagat said that date would be finalised later as the party leaders were busy in Assembly elections presently in progress in five States. “It has nothing to do with possible rally of Narendra Modi. We want Rahul Gandhi to come and to ensure this. The date has not been fixed yet,” he said.
