State's progress without education is impossible: CM

Published on:

Chief Minister Hemant Soren has said the way teachers and non-teaching staff of government aided schools are trying to spread the light of education in the remote areas as well as in the urban areas, is really commendable.

Spreading education in the remote areas of the state is a challenge, which is effectively being taken up by the teachers.

He said that the prime reason of Jharkhand being backward is lack of education among the people. “Though there is no dearth of natural resources in the state, lagging behind in the field of education is a matter of concern for us as development of any state is impossible without educating its people.” Soren was speaking during a programme at the Social Development Centre at Purulia Road in Ranchi.
