For the first time ever November 15, the foundation day of Jharkhand will be celebrated as a fortnight wherein the rural mass will be informed about the Government policies sanctioned for them. Chief Minister (CM) Hemant Soren has decided to organise public hearing at every block of the State for this reason during this statehood fortnight scheduled from November 15 to 30.
“Villagers are still unable to access the government schemes. So, we want to reach out to the rural population and inform them about such policies and schemes,” said CM at a press conference on Thursday.
Adding further he said, “On Statehood day, we will announce the work progress made by our government in the 100 days of formation which marked on October 20.”
However, he hesitated answering on questions related to recent terrorist activities identified in the state capital. Also, he ignored answering on providing recruitment letters to the passed Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test 2013 candidates.
Notably, Ministers appointed to concerned departments will hold public awareness camps in the forms of Vikas Mela and District level exhibition at selected districts.
