Jharkhand’s woman wrestler Umarani Palit retained her 35th plus championship at the 39th Master (Veteran) National Badminton Championship in Dharamshala on March 6.
Palit’s achievement is one of its kind as none of the wrestlers of Jharkhand or Bihar have bagged such a position. The eight-day national meet concluded on Saturday.
