State BJP spokesperson Pratul Shahdeo on Monday said that by giving a stable Government in the last five years, people have ended the atmosphere of political instability from Country and State, resulting in development of State due to double engine Government.
The BJP leader claimed that farmers, labourers, businessmen, journalists, women, minorities and everyone are progressing with the vision of development.
This Government has made the people of Jharkhand self-dependent by connecting them to mainstream of development. Shahdeo was addressing media persons at party office highlighting the achievements of Centre and State Governments.
Shahdeo said that on one hand farmers are getting financial assistance of Rs 11,000 to Rs 31 000 under the Chief Minister Krishi Aashirwad Yojana depending upon their farming land size, Jharkhand is only State in Country which pays the premium of farmers crop insurance.
Highlighting the works carried out by Raghubar Das Government in women empowerment, he said the affect of Mukhyamantri Sukanya Yojana and Mukhyamantri Kanyadan Yojana can be gauged from the fact that is that there is increase in the sex ratio in State.
As part of women empowerment financial assistance of Rs 40 000 is provided to girls from her birth to till she attain the age of 18 years along with Rs 30,000 for her marriage.
Highlighting some of the steps of State Government, Shahdeo said, “The State Government has taken some milestone steps in connection with women empowerment.
Land/property registration upto Rs 50 lakh in name of women in free, the result of this historic decision is that now more than 80 per cent registry is done in the name of women. Similarly, Jharkhand became the only State where the 33 lakh women who are beneficiaries of Ujjwala Yojana are being given two refill cylinders free of cost with stove.” Highlighting the progress in health sector, the BJP leader said that under the Ayushman Bharat scheme, around 5.57 lakh families are covered in Jharkhand, and out of which around 3 lakh residents have availed the benefits so far. Also more importantly Ranchi Sadar Hospital has been recognized as second best hospital in the country in terms of giving benefits under Ayushman scheme. Shahdeo claimed that Raghubar Das Government’s priority is to take all sections of society together, resulting in progressing of tribal society.
The State Government has not only set up Scheduled Tribes Commission but is also providing financial assistance in the range of Rs 1,000 to Rs 3000 to Manki Mundai, Pahan etc so that they get social respect.
The BJP leader claimed that with an aim to protect and project tribal identity/culture in world’s map the State Government has given the status of State fair to famous Lugu Buru Mela of tribals.
For education and uplift of tribals the Government provides financial assistance of Rs 1 lakh to those who passed the UPSC preliminary examination and an amount of Rs 527 crore has been earmarked to provide scholarship to the children under pre matriculation and post matriculation scheme.
The BJP leader also hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Government for abrogating Article 370 of the Constitution from Jammu and Kashmir, which has opened the doors of reservation to scheduled caste and tribes of northern State.
