Chief Minister Raghubar Das today said that a strong Government at the Centre and State has resulted in excellent work on the path of development in the last four years, and resultantly, Jharkhand is being recognised for becoming one of the leading States in economic progress. The CM was interacting with people at the Jan Chaupal programme organized in Bansbona village of Bilkandi Panchayat in Ranswar block in Dumka on Tuesday.
“You gave a strong government and your government gave Jharkhand a new identity in the nation through development in just four years. The government wants your opinion on every step. The government will welcome every suggestion. This programme has been organized today to lessen the distance between the government and the people,” he said.
“Due to political instability for 14 years, development in Jharkhand was not visible to the people. You created a strong government that resulted in the establishment of new records for development in almost all areas in only four years. Today, Jharkhand is being recognized as an excellent State in the entire country. In the World Bank and many other surveys, Jharkhand has emerged in the list of top ten states. 3.25 crore people of Jharkhand want not only development but also fast development,” said the CM.
Das said that the government has been working directly on the suggestions of rural people in remote areas. “The government is working on your plans. There are still many more development works to be done in the State. The suggestion and cooperation of all of you is important for the development of the State,” he said.
Talking about Chief Minister Sukanya Yojna he said that the scheme will be implemented in the State, which is very simple in implementation and on the birth of the daughter directly, the incentive money will be deposited in the mother's account. In the first 5th and 9th and 11th grade and also on remaining unmarried, the incentive money will be given directly to the beneficiary through the account.
Das said that the farmers have made a great leap in the field of agriculture. Jharkhand is the second State in the country after Gujarat, where the Global Agriculture and Food Summit was organized. In which the representatives of other countries also joined. Jharkhand can only strengthen agriculture based economy. To enrich Jharkhand, the village will also be enriched. The government is working for the all round development of the village.
The CM said, “No matter how misguided you have been in the past 4 years, nobody saw that your land has not been taken off. I want to believe that no one will snatch your land from you. Be cautious of the misleading. Be self-aware and make people aware. The government is working in public interest,” he said.
The CM said that to save the Santhal Paragana, intermediaries and middlemen need to be removed because they are like a termite for the society. “If someone asks you for any kind of amount to avail the benefits of the government's plans then call on 181 without hesitation and inform it and take action against the concerned person and will be sent to jail. Cooperate in making corruption free Jharkhand,” he appealed to the people.
