State students get PM’s guidance to lower exam stress

In order to remove the stress and nervous atmosphere of the examination, as well as to guide or advise the children, parents and teachers, Prime Minister Narendra Modi  today addressed school children, parents and teachers on the occasion of the 7th edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha programme. He said that it is important to build resilience in our children and help them deal with pressures. Along with parents, teachers should also collectively solve the challenges of the students.

The PM said that teachers are not in a job role, rather they carry the responsibility of shaping the lives of students. Appealing to the parents, he said that parents should not make the report card of their children their visiting card. Never sow the seeds of competition and rivalry among your children. Rather, brothers and sisters should be an inspiration for each other. Modi said that technology should not become a burden. Promote its judicious use. He said that there is no such thing as right time, so do not wait for it. Challenges will keep coming, and you have to challenge those challenges. If there are millions of challenges, there are billions of solutions too.

The PM said that failures should not cause disappointment. Every mistake is a new learning. The more I enhance the capabilities of my countrymen, the more my ability to meet challenges increases. For proper governance, there should be a system of good information from bottom to top and good guidance from top to bottom. I have closed all the doors and windows of despair in my life.

Pooja Srivastava, mother of Priyanshi Srivastava, who is studying in Guru Nanak School, Ramgarh, asked the PM that how can she manage her daughter Priyanshi Srivastava's education along with the use of social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram etc.? On this, Modi said that excess of anything does no good to anyone. Everything has a limit and criteria. Giving the example of mother's food, he said that if a mother has prepared very good food, it does not mean that one should eat it limitlessly. Even if it is rich in nutrients, has many benefits, and even if you like the dish, it is the right time to eat it. But after a certain limit, you will have to stop eating your favourite food because if you do not do so, it will cause problems like stomach ache and vomiting. He said that I know how to utilize my time. It is important to have introspection. Parents who spend the whole day on mobile phones also want to protect their children from mobile phones.

Modi said that four people are sitting in the same house, but instead of talking to each other, they send messages to each other on their mobiles. Secrecy is also a big reason behind this. He said that we should ensure that there will be no electronic gadgets on the dining table while eating. Everyone will chat and talk while eating. One room in the house should be a 'no gadget zone'. So that all the members of the house come to that room and talk at the same time without mobile phones. One should not run away from technology considering it a burden. It is important to learn the correct use of technology.

The PM, while advising the school children, said that they should also inform their parents about the increasing technology and make them aware. If you try to explain to your parents that you are not just talking to friends on mobile, you are also using technology appropriately. Only then will they be able to trust you. Every member of the house should know the lock password of the mobile.

The address of Modi was heard and seen by school children, teachers and school management committees in all the government schools of Jharkhand. For this, special arrangements were made for live telecast in all the schools. After listening to the address of the PM, the children took inspiration to move forward in life with positivity and new energy.
