DGsP/IGsP Conference- 2023 was organized on 05-07 January 2024 in Jaipur, Rajasthan under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This conference was attended by Ajay Kumar Singh, Director General and Inspector General of Police, Jharkhand. Apart from this, many senior police officials participated in the conference through video conferencing. To make the police better and professional, there were in-depth discussions on many important policy matters and a road map for the future was found.
In the context of Jharkhand, some important achievements of Jharkhand Police have been mentioned and appreciated in this conference. The work of Jharkhand Police on Left Wing Extremism was appreciated. Best practices conducted by Jharkhand Police were also mentioned in this conference. All the participants were informed about c-beat policing conducted by Jharkhand Police.
Also, instructions were given to create a portal for the implementation of the recommendations of DGsP/IGsP Conference in the year 2022. Jharkhand Police has taken initiative and implemented DGsP/IGsP Conference Portal, which has become the first state to implement it in the entire country. The participants were also informed in this regard in this conference. Jharkhand Police participated in presentations and discussions about tribal issues and Left Wing Extremism.
In the conference, police were given training in scientific techniques like Forensic Science, Information Technology, Al/Ml. And suggestions have also been received regarding the following Data Analytics driven approach. Jharkhand Police will ensure timely compliance of the recommendations received in the conference in future.
