As promised by the State Government to develop Maluti into a tourist spot senior Government functionaries led by Secretary, Art, Culture, Sport and Youth Affairs; Vandana Dadel on Thursday visited Maluti to inspect the place and explore the possibilities of putting the place on tourism map.
Dadel informed the villagers of Maluti that funds allotted under 13th Finance Commission will be used for the conservation of Terracotta art based Maulaskhi and group of temples at the village. Dadel also collected information about different aspects of the place.
While taking stock of the situation Dadel informed villagers that the government will begin bus service from Maluti to Tarapith, will improve electricity supply, will install solar power centre and 40 solar lamps will installed in the village.
