Dr Surya Pratap Singh of Banaras Hindu University told The Pioneer that Jharkhand has lots of herbs which can be validated and used for medicinal usage.
Tribals of this region have been dependent on herbal medicines for past many centuries. “A company named ‘Organic India’ is earning dollars by selling drumstick powder to US based countries,” said Dr Surya.
