After the conclusion of SAF Junior games, the State Government has decided to minimise the rental rates of the various sports stadiums at Mega Sports Complex for the sports associations so that budding players can use it regularly for practice. Notably, the entire process of utilising the complex was named as ‘Pay and Play’ in early this year but could not be implemented due to high stadium charge and lack of accommodation facilities. “The paramilitary personnel residing here will be shifted to Khunti soon. Aspiring players under the scheme can then stay here,” said State sports Minister.
