State BJP leaders, in order to impress party’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi during his rally on Sunday, are making all efforts to be visible before the PM-in-making.
To make it colourful, best folk artistes and instrumentalists have been called in with their groups to perform during the rally. Some have even organised motorcycle rallies who will enter the venue with their traditional attires to make the occasion memorable. “As this is going to be a historical occasion for us, I have called Tasha party from Hazaribagh, Nagara party from Sisai in Gumla, Turturi and Paika artists from Simdega and Khunti as they are supposed to be the best in the country,” said BJP leader Deepak Prakash. The artists will entertain the crowd by their performance during the rally.
According to Prakash, the artists will arrive here one day in advance, who will also perform before the party office on Saturday. “The artists will also perform before the party office and call on people from all over the State for the rally,” Prakash added. Similarly, another BJP leader Gama Singh has arranged a motorcycle rally from his locality Krishna Nagar under the banner the Jharkhand Punjabi Society. “Thousands of BJP workers will march towards the venue riding more than 1000 motorcycles, in their traditional Punjabi attires with pink turbans on their head,” said Singh.
One thousand ‘Pagris’ have been brought in from Delhi which could be identified from the distance in the rally. “It will indicate the support of Punjabi society for Narendra Modi. Besides, we are also going to raise a huge welcome gate on the way to the venue,” he added. Former Deputy Chief Minister Raghuvar Das has also appealed people to come to the venue in groups in traditional dresses to make the venue colorful.
Special stress is being given on cultural programmes where Bhojpuri actor Manoj Tiwari along with several folk artists from Jharkhand will entertain the crowd so that they remain intact till Modi comes in. Mukund Nayak, a traditional folk artist from Jharkhand of international fame will also perform on a separate stage meant for him along with 60 others on the stage for hours.
Folk artists coming from all over the State, through their shows, will also demonstrate increasing price rise, terrorism, corruption as well as unemployment during the Congress rule in the society. The artists in their shows will also illustrate how Modi will remove the problems created by the Congress. To ensure presence of people from different walks of life, over 1000 intellectuals from different fields are being invited by the respective cell of the state BJP. “We are going to invite 1000 eminent personalities from different fields like doctors, engineers, chartered accountants, professionals,
educationalists as well as businessmen from the state and separate arrangement has been done near the stage,” said former MP Ajay Maroo. According to Maroo, this is a practice adopted by the state BJP this time of sending mass invitation to different parts of society so that more and more people could get attached to the party.
Proper arrangement has also been made at the venue where there will be tea along with a packet of breakfast and lunch distributed by the organizers as well as the different individual societies. One lakh packets of Chuda -gud are being prepared by the organisers for Sunday for the people coming from different parts of the State. Punjabi society will also distribute one lakh cups of tea at the venue among the crowd for their refreshment. ‘NaMo Mantra’ will also be distributing one lakh tea cups among the crowd separately.
