Although newly elected BJP MPs and the other senior party leaders including Arjun Munda have already left for Delhi to attend the oath taking ceremony of Prime Minister designate Narendra Modi, state BJP is all set to observe ‘Dipawali’ at the state party headquarters and Albert Ekka Chowk to mark the historic occasion. Meanwhile, BJP supporters performed ‘Rudrabhishek’ so that India, under Modi’s leadership shines on the world map and emerge as a world leader.
“As it is a historical moment for each and every citizen of this Country, I am also feeling proud I will als be a part of the occasion,” said BJP leader Deepak Prakash, who was about to take flight for Delhi. We hope that India will see new heights and shine as a world leader under the leadership of Modiji,” added Prakash.
Former Chief Minister Arjun Munda is already in Delhi since the party has secured thumping majority in the lok Sabha elections exchanging greetings with other national leaders. Other than Munda, former State BJP president Dineshanand Goswami, louis Marandi and other national executive members are likely to take part in today’s oath taking ceremony.
Those who could not make it to Delhi, have a different plan here at the party headquarters. Party’s women’s wing will observe Dipawali to mark the historical occasion.
“The women’s wing has plans to make ‘Rangoli’ at the party office and lighten diya as done at the occasion of Dipawali,” said BJP spokesperson Pradeep Sinha. There are also plans to celebrate at Albert Ekka Chowk with crackers the moment Modi takes over as the 15th Prime Minister of India, he added.
Sweets will also be distributed among the people during the occasion, added vice president of party’s women’s wing laxmi.
Business houses in the city have also offered to lighten their shops and establishments to welcome the auspicious occasion while all small and big temples will enlightened with earthen lamps (diya) by the local people to welcome their leader as the 15th Prime Minister of India. “We have also made arrangements to put cut outs of Modi at all the important points in the city and have also appealed to the people to lighten some earthen lamps at their houses as well,” said BJP leader Sanjay Seth. According to Seth, May 26 will be made historical for Ranchi also.
A ‘Rudrabhishek’ was also performed at Phool Baba Ashram, near Ranchi lake in order to seek blessing of lord Shiva for Narendar Modi so that he emerges as a world leader and succeeds in projecting India as leader on the global map.
