Startup Event 2017, aimed at promoting Startups in agriculture and allied sectors like forestry, veterinary & animal husbandry, dairy, fishery and biotechnology will be held at Birsa Agricultural University (BAU) on December 5 and 8.
Objective of the event is to welcome the innovators, pioneers and entrepreneurs to showcase their creative, innovative ideas to audience comprised of investors, industry experts, public & private sector companies and government officials. Graduates of disciplines like agriculture, veterinary, forestry, dairy, fishery, biotechnology, engineering, pharmacy, communication, fashion designing, commerce, information technology etc will have an opportunity to explain their innovative ideas within 5-10 minutes to the companies and government authorities during the event. There will also be an interactive session between innovators and investors. Interested innovators may register themselves online on the website jharstartup.jharkhand.gov.in for the event.
The event is being organized by the Jharkhand Agency for the Promotion of Information Technology (JAPIT) in partnership with Department of IT & E Governance, Govt of Jharkhand, Birsa Agricultural University and Earnest & Young organisation. The event is aimed at improving farm productivity and preparing entrepreneurs. The innovators would also showcase their commercially viable ideas, products, technologies and services at the venue.
