Governor Droupadi Murmu, while praising the initiative to promote entrepreneurs coming up with fresh ideas under start-up programme, termed it potentially capable to check naxal issues engulfing the State.
Speaking at a programme organised by Assocham on Friday, the Governor also labeled ‘start-up-stand-up’ initiative as game changer for youths. “The programme is very helpful in supporting innovations and presents the biggest opportunity before the youths. It can convert them from job seeker to job providers. When we think about the reasons behind leftwing extremism the programme comes in our mind as one of the solutions,” she said in her address.
The Governor also stressed that start-up India should be converted into start-up Jharkhand for the youths of the State which would distract them just going for jobs somehow. Also present there was Minister of Youth Affairs, Sports and Culture Amar Kumar Bauri who underlined the importance of coming up original ideas and work taking tribals of the State along.
