Had this Global Investors’ Summit (GIS) not taken place, many would have never come to know that an IT Solution used in aviation industry in thousands of kilometers away in the United States of America (USA) and many other parts of the world has been actually developed by professionals sitting here in the capital city of Jharkhand.
“This is only one example of what Jharkhand has to offer to the world if given right opportunity. And I strongly believe that the time has come for that opportunity because government is open to support Start-Ups and IT industry,” said Nath Corp Founder Raj Nath said during during seminar on IT/IteS, ESDM and Start-Ups: Investment Opportunities in Jharkhand on 2nd day of Momentum Jharkhand: Global Investors’ Summit – 2017 on Friday.
In a seminar where knowledge leaders like Telecom Regulatory and Development Authority (TRAI) Chairman RS Sharma and Oracle India Pvt ltd Regional Managing Director Shailendra Kumar were present among other industry leaders nurturing Start Ups and IT business in Jharkhand and other parts of country, most of the business leaders agreed to one another with the fact that it was not about pouring in opportunities, but the attitude of the government to new avenues which had made apparent difference as far as promoting Start Ups was concerned.
“It is not that the government was not proactive earlier. But it was lacking the insight of what to do and where to start from. Then, it never appeared in facilitator’s role ever in last decade, but worked in closed doors. This is probably for the first time, that the government has appeared in a starting up gesture,” said ID8 Ventures Founder Amit Mishra.
“This is where Jharkhand seems to have changed a lot and has been trying to make it available for ideas and investments like a facilitator,” said Mishra who is now nurturing his start-up and encouraging young professionals to become a part of Prime Minister’s ambitious ‘Start Up India’ campaign.
