One-day temporary stalls were set up for the sale of local products at five stations Ranchi, Hatia, Muri, Silli and Jhalida railway stations under Ranchi Railway Division of South Eastern Railway as per the 'One Station One Product Scheme' announced in the Union Budget. These stalls have been set up under the sixth phase of one station one product scheme, SPELL-1.
Various local products operated by these stalls at Ranchi, Muri, Silli and Jhalida railway stations from 09-07-2022 to 23-07-2022 and at Hatia railway station from 08-07-2022 to 22-07-2022. that will be exhibited and sold.
It is to be noted that 15 days temporary stalls have been successfully operated at Ranchi Railway Station in the first four phases of One Station One Product Scheme and two spells of the fifth phase.
Stalls are being set up at railway stations across the country in a phased manner for the sale of area specific products, local artefacts, handicrafts, handlooms, etc. With this, the railway station where the passengers will land, they will be able to get information about the particular product there and buy it easily. As a result, both the promotion of the product and the employment will increase. Along with this, there will also be a facility to send these products from one place to another by trains.
