After a span of about 10 years, Suraj Singh Memorial College at Kanke is all set to host its Youth Fest from November 16-17. In order to boost the infotainment spirit among the students the college has decided to take this initiative despite facing infrastructural hurdles.
Sharing this joyous information a teaching staff of the college said, “Due to space crunch within our college for classes and other academic purpose, it was difficult for us to think of organising this intra-college programme. But, our new principal SK Verma wanted us to be an example for other city colleges who hesitate to conduct youth fest because of infrastructural difficulties.”
As far as the funds are concerned, the college is getting full support from Ranchi University (RU). “We will invite sponsorships after the vacations are over in early November month,” the teacher added. Musical, Cultural and literary events are to be organised here.
