The much trusted service of post and telegraph department has spoiled the future of a brilliant student Mukesh Kumar Chaurasiya. Due to delayed delivery of speed post he failed to take admission at ISM, Dhanbad.
Mukesh, a resident of village Bahimar, had appeared in the competitive exam. On March 22, 2013 his scorecard was dispatched from IIT Mumbai which was delivered to him on May 29, 2013. According to that scorecard and letter he had to report at ISM Dhanbad on April 19.
Due to the faulty service of post and telegraph department he lost the opportunity to get admitted at the prestigious Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad. Now he is knocking the doors of senior officials in a hope that they will do something for his admission. Till date he had not got any concrete promise from anyone of getting relief.
It is an example of the deteriorating work culture of Government offices which had spoiled many lives and Mukesh, a brilliant chap of Hazaribagh, is the latest name in that long list of sufferers.
