Special camps will be set up across all polling stations in Ranchi on November 28 and November 29 as well as again on December 5 and December 6. Ranchi Deputy Commissioner (DC) Chhavi Ranjan issued necessary guidelines to all electoral registration officers and assistant electoral registration officers in this regard on Wednesday.
During this camp BLO’s will be present at the booths with all types of forms. Eligible citizens can get their names added to the voter list. People can also apply for correction, transfer or to get names deleted from the list.
In addition to this, a special drive by the Election Commission of India is being carried out from November 16 to December 15 where citizens can apply to get their names added, deleted, corrected or for transfer through the portal https://voterportal.eci.gov.in nvsp.in.
Ranjan has directed compliance with all guidelines issued by the Election Commission of India and the government regarding Covid-19 at all polling centres. For people arriving at the centre wearing masks and following social distancing norms will be mandatory.
