The minister also said that anganbari sevikas and CDPOs have been asked to contact Panchayat Raj Institutions (PRI) representatives to find out reason for less children attending anganbari kendras. Anganbari kendras are part of the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) programme to deal child hunger and malnutrition.
The minister also assured that `6,613 crore Subernarekha multipurpose project will be completed in the State within a year (by 2015).
