The meeting of the Chairmen of the newly constituted committees for the year 2022-2023 of the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly was called on Wednesday in the committee room. A total of 24 committees have been formed for the year 2023-2024. Addressing all the chairpersons in the meeting, the Chairman said that all of the members have been given the responsibility of chairpersons of different committees. It is certainly a very challenging task. Through this committee, we also get the opportunity to fulfill the hopes with which the people of the state have elected us here.

The Speaker said that I have observed the reports of various standing committees of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha and their related recommendations and data related to implementation. I was pleasantly surprised to know that about 60% of the recommendations of the reports of the Standing Committees of the Parliament are accepted by the government and implemented by the departments. If we talk about the Delegated Legislative Committee of the Parliament, about 80 to 85% recommendations are accepted by the government.

Speaker Rabindra Nath Mahato said that most of the MLAs out of all the Chairmen are young. Your energy will surely lead to the Navnirman of Jharkhand and welfare of the common people. He also said that in this committee meeting, we all should take a resolution that we will use our legislative powers to the maximum for the overall welfare of every person standing in the last line of Jharkhand.

Singh, Member Lobin Hembram, Member  Ramchandra Chandravanshi,  Member  Kedar Hazra,  Member  Saryu Rai,  Member  Deepak Birua,  Member  Sita Murmu, Member  Ramchandra Singh,  Member  Neeral Purti,  Member  Vinod Singh,  Member  Sarfaraz Ahmed,  Member  Irfan Ansari,  Member  Umashankar Akela,  Member  Aparnasen Gupta and  Member  Glenn Joseph Glosten,  Member  Bhushan Tirkey,  Member  Ramdas Soren were present in the meeting.
