There is a fresh bout of spar now between former Chatra MP Inder Singh Namdhari and Minister for Rural Development and Daltonganj MlA KN Tripathy.
It is Namdhari who has mounted the attack first clearing any misconception that he has any envy or malice towards Tripathy but what pains and pricks him most is the way Tripathy is taking the masses for a ride over the renewal of lease of khas mahal land.
“There is nothing in me against him but some simple plain questions as to why the minister is so making unrealistic things on this khas mahal land,” Namdhari said.
He dubs Tripathy’s claims with regard to renewal of lease of khas mahal land as more a drama and even pulls up the local media for blunting the truth and fact on the core issue of renewal of lease of khas mahal land. Namdhari has even flayed business organisations here for their refusal to see the fiction in the words of Tripathy.
Tripathy in a press meet termed Namdhari’s statement on khas mahal issue as ‘shagoofa’ (stunt) adding ‘ There will always be people around who never know how to appreciate things in right strand’.
The minister said, “Days are not quite far away when things for turning khas mahal into free hold land will remain any impossible thing here in Jharkhand.” He said quoting principal secretary land reforms JB Tubid that an annual rent of rupees 6,000 will be for just two decimal of khas mahal land now.
Tripathy further said, “A new beginning has been made after 30 years. let us appreciate the move. The lessees are now hopeful but here is this man shooting from mouth what he fails to take in himself’.
