Nirbhay Sawari' has been embarked upon in Daltonganj. Under this Nirbhay Sawari a girl or a woman or any passengers will now travel by auto rickshaw or mini four wheeler day or night without any fear of either getting duped or looted or fleeced by the driver or the vehicle staff.
launching this Nirbhay Sawari SP Palamu Indrajeet Mahatha said ' On Thursday February 9 I sat with more than 300 drivers/ owners who do drive auto rickshaws and drivers of mini four wheeler and asked them to contribute to the safety and security of the passengers here in Daltonganj'.
About Nirbhay Sawari Mahatha said ' It is a travelling without fear of getting any harassed either by way of ogling and goggling by the auto rickshaw people or mini four wheeler people or not to suffer lewd remarks from the drivers' When told that auto rickshaw drivers at night at railway station premise just fleece the passengers and dictate terms for fare SP said ' It is day one and things will improve sooner'.
SP said Daltonganj police will now have cell phone numbers/ vehicle numbers of the drivers of auto rickshaws and mini four wheeler and these people will too have sticker of police with number of police officials ranging from nearest police station to the higherups to be used in the event of any mishap or incident either happening to the driver or to the occupants of the vehicles'.
