In a bid to boost the confidence of district police and to take stock of anti-naxal movement in the area, Garhwa SP Sudhir Kumar Jha launched campaign on Wednesday night in the stronghold areas of the extremists. During his drive and inspection of Ramkanda police station, the SP has given censor to OC and asked explanation to five sub-inspectors.
On Wednesday night at around 10 pm Garhwa SP with the police party moved from Garhwa to some unknown destinations. After direction of SP his vehicle reached at Ranka at around 10.30 pm. He inspected the Ranka police station and found that everything was in line.
Then he took bike from the police station and his convoy ran towards the Ramkanda police station through forest road which area is known as extremists stronghold area not with standing of Manpur, Chatakmaan, Gasedag,Shirkutti villages.He reached at Ramkanda at around 11 pm.Wich is far 70 km from district headquarter. SP inspected Ramkanda police station. During inspection SP found fault against Ramkanda OC Anil Nayak and five SIs including Mir Asmat Amana, Kamil Husain Khan, larentus Kujur, Wiliam Toppo and Ram Narayan Roy. SP given censor punishment to OC and asked explaination to five SIs.
later at around 12.30 SP moved to Maoist strong hold areas including Tilaya Tar, Murli, Basantpur, Bijka, Bida Rado Birajpur villages resided in dence forest. At around 4 am he reached at Bhandariya police station. SP inspected Bhandariya police station and found all are correct there.At around 7 am SP returned at Garhwa after whole night operation.
The Garhwa SP informed that I have launched this campaign in night moreover polic could launched anti naxal movement in night also to stop the nxal movement. Because extremists movement is going in night. SP said that during his campaign SP also raided the TPC commanders Nitant Ji and Raushan Ji, but they were not in their houses.
