Superintendent of Police, Garhwa, Shivani Tiwari, today convened a meeting with the police officials of the Garhva sub-division here and discussed on security arrangement of the area and gave necessary directions. The SP instructed officials to observe Thana Day in their respective police stations. So that quick and on-the-spot execution of cases can be performed. She asked the police officers to invite the CO on thana diwas so that land disputes complaint of the people can be executed on spot. On the day SDPO, police Inspector of the concerned sub-division are instructed to be present.
Tiwari instructed in-charge of Woman Police station to stop child marriage, oppression of women in the name of witchcraft etc. and to make people aware about it. The SP emphasized on improving the service of women police station located in Garhwa and Nagar Untari. In addition, from time to time, for guarding the crime, directed on the campaigning and tracking campaign etc so that crime can be prevented.
The SP informed that three-days special drive for execution of warrant and attachment of property is going on. SP directed to all the officer in charge to arranged separate meetings with running the bank officials, petrol pump, school and other institutions to motivate the CCTV cameras to be installed outside their respective establishments so that they could be able to monitor the criminals. The meeting was attended by Garhwa SDPO Sameer Tirkey, Inspector cum Garhwa Police Station officer-in-charge Anil Kumar, and police officers from various police stations.
