SP Hazaribagh has started a new programme to know the problems of jawans and officials posted in different police stations of the district and will interact with the denizens of that area also to know their problems.
Talking to newsmen at Barkattha police station SP Anup Birthare said that I have decided to stay in the police stations of the districts and will give 15 days in a month for this purpose.
He started his own pledge today with the visit of the most remote police station of the district situated at Chalkussa.
In Chalkussa police station he sat with the people’s representatives and denizens of that area and talked with them about their grievances and suggestions.
He not only listened everyone patiently but also gave some suggestions and sought their help for better policing in the area.
From here he reached to Barkattha police station where again took part in a meeting with people’s representatives and denizens of the police station area. According to our Barkattha sources SP Birthare will stay here tonight in the barrack of police jawans and will also take dinner with them.
Yesterday SP Birthare has made thorough inspection of all the police stations of Hazaribagh town and everywhere gave important tips to the officers and jawans of the department for better policing.
In his address he advised the police officials of every police station to constitute mohallah samitis, to add the members with whatsapp, to develop new information sources, to organize meeting with the denizens at regular intervals, to roam in the area frequently etc.
After this exercise he visited the civil court campus and took a close look of the security arrangement of the premises, court rooms, prisoner’s room etc. and talked with the jawans posted there.
SP Anup Birthare has himself took the decision to give atleast one day one night to every police station in a month and has started working accordingly.
The people’s representatives and denizens who took part in the meetings today looked surprised but happy. Kaushal Kumar of Chalkussa said that it is a new experience for us and we wish that it will continue for better coordination between the people and police department.
