SP Hazaribagh Bheem Sen Tuti has directed officers in charge of all police stations of the district to complete the investigation of pending cases and file the charge sheet in the court within the given time frame, so that the criminals, who are behind the bar, should not be benefited.
SP gave this instruction in the crime meeting held in his office. In this meeting SP gave targets to all the investigating officer to complete the investigation of pending cases and to submit the case diary in the court. Those officers who will not complete the investigation will be punished by the department, he warned.
Talking with his officers Tuti said that I have prepared a chart of pending cases in the office and pasted it on the board. I will watch this board daily so it will be yours duty to send reports of completed investigation everyday to my office so that I can get a clear picture of disposed pending cases by each police stations daily.
Hazaribagh police is running under the burden of pending cases. At present 4248 cases are pending in different police stations of Hazaribagh district. The sadar police station is on the top position and Tatijharia police station is at the bottom of the table.
As per the police record of SP office, in sadar police station 1426 cases are pending due to proper investigation. In other police stations like Katkamsandi 104, Pelawal 182, Katkamdag 137, Ichak 224, Tatijharia 26 Daru 102, Bishnugarh 265, Churchu 20, Muffasil 331, Charhi 63, Barkagaon 182 Urimari 13, Gidhi 50, Keradari 81 Barhi 454, Choparan 265, Gorhar 214 cases are pending. In police outposts too many cases are pending since long which need to be investigated shortly.
