Inspector General of Police, South Chotanagpur Range, Ranchi organized a review meeting on the subject of law and order and investigation of Ranchi district with Deputy Inspector General of Police cum Senior Superintendent of Police, Ranchi, Superintendent of Police (City/Rural/Traffic) and all Deputy Superintendents of Police in the auditorium located in the office of Senior Superintendent of Police, Ranchi on Monday. Many important instructions were given related to law and order maintenance and crime control under Ranchi district in the meeting.
Instructions were given to collect intelligence on law and order maintenance and crime control in the district and to take immediate action. Instructions were given to take preventive measures for crime control, especially to prevent organized crime and to keep special surveillance under the action plan. Instructions were given to prepare a complete database of organized gang leaders and their active criminal associates, people who sympathize with them, shelter providers and to obtain warrants/proclamations/attachment against absconding criminals.
â Instructed were passed to keep special vigil on the activities of criminal gangs operating from the jail. â Instructions were given to implement city sealing point and to run intensive and effective anti-crime checking campaign. Senior police officers were ordered to supervise anti-crime checking.
Emphasis was laid on the implementation of public oriented policing. Instructions were given to behave decently with all the victims/visitors coming to the police station. Instructed for quality research and timely execution in cases related to women/children.
The IG instructed to run a special campaign on buying-selling/consumption of illegal drugs in the district, to take strict action against illegal opium cultivation, to make the general public aware. And strict action was taken against the local and interstate network of illegal drug trade.
Instructions were given to keep special vigil on cybercrime incidents and to do quality research. Maximum arrests of cyber criminals have been ordered through Pratibimb App.
Emphasis was given on setting the target of timely disposal of old pending cases. Instructions were given for quick disposal of complaints of Public Grievance System (CPGRAMS). Instructions were given to train police officers and police personnel at the police station level.
Instructions were given to make an action plan for centralized maalkhana in the peripheral police station area of the city for proper maintenance of maalkhana display in the police station premises in Ranchi district so that the police station premises can be kept clean.
