State BJP Spokesperson Pratul Shahdeo on Tuesday alleged that the JMM executive president and his family members violated CNT and SPT Acts and captured land of tribals in many areas of the State. Talking to media persons in Dumka on Tuesday Shahdeo said that in the name of betterment of tribal people the family did its own betterment. Releasing the list of land acquired by the Sorens, Shahdeo said that the record of registering 16 land plots in a single day in the State was with the Soren family that has gathered huge properties across the State.
The BJP Spokesperson asked from JMM executive president how he bought land from Raju Oraon in Harmu. He further asked how Hemant managed to get money for building Sohrai Bhawan and how much cost was incurred in construction of the building.
He said that Hemant Soren, who talks about the interests of tribals, has cheated the tribals. “The people of Dumka have understood his intentions. For this reason, he is also trying their luck from Barhet. But, he does not know that he will have to face defeat from here also. Because, what good he has done to Barhet, the public there understands well. Hemant’s sister-in-law Sita Soren is also contesting elections from Jama. The public will no longer spare the Soren family,” said he.
“On one hand the CM made 140 tours to Santhal Paragana in five years and connected Santhal Pargana from the mainstream and on the other saind the Soren family only kept the tribals of the region as vote bank. In this election tribals and original residents of the State will finish the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha politically,” said the BJP Spokesperson.
